This is part of a photoshoot from Sakura-Con 2009.

Zuko, the Fire Nation's exiled prince, is taking a break from being hunted by his sister and ex-girlfriend, horribly burned by his father, and smacked around by the Avatar, to reflect on how lousy his life is.

Light is provided by a Nikon SB-24 flash on top of a lightstand being held by Mai just to the right and triggered by a CTR-301.

Great use of light here- I love the framing and the texture on the wall. I wish you could have cropped out the staircase a bit more, as it's a touch distracting (maybe just photoshop out the handrail?).
The swords crossed on the ground are a nice touch!

No problem!
dA is occasionally useful for things like critique. If you want people to know that they're "allowed"to critique your work, choose to encourage advanced critique when you submit a deviation. Many people [myself included] try to live by the 'if you can't say something nice' rules, unless otherwise given permission.and of course some artists get really offended at the thought of any critique that might point out a flaw, even if it's wrapped up in praise. :shrug:

Oh wow! I didn't realize they'd removed the feature- I've been using it for so long. THAT's a pisser.
I mean, I'm considering biting for the critique thing- for a month or two it'd be fun to see what'd happen, but still....
